Hi everyone, has anyone experienced chaetomorpha bloom or something similar that is happening in my tank? Should I remove it from the tank?

I would leave it in your tank if it’s growing, it will keep your water parameters good and they shrimp will love it.

That is the thing that I am not sure if it is growing. It seems that it releases the spores and slowly dying off. Odin, have you ever experienced anything like this with your chaeto?

Where did you get the chaeto?
It does look like it mixed with grape Caulerpa algae.
Refer photo for grape Caulerpa.
I keep this grape Caulerpa before and it easily get entangle/mixed with chaeto if house in the same tank.
